A Little Something Just for You

I’m definitely not a beauty expert, and you won’t find me doing a 12-step skincare routine or a full face of makeup any morning.. But I do love a good perfume, products that make my skin feel soft, hair feel good, a little bit of self-care, and beauty products that are simple enough for me to actually use. These are the things I’ve tried, loved, and think are worth sharing.

I originally bought several of these for Christmas gifts, and for that, I think they’re great. Everything is already packaged together, so I could throw one in a cute gift bag with some chocolates or tuck a little gift card in there and be done. I think it’s especially good for women in their 20s and early 30s. It’s probably not something I’d buy for myself, but as an easy gift, I absolutely would.

This has been my all-time favorite perfume for years. The soft clean feminine scent is classic.. There was a time when I couldn’t just go out and buy it whenever I wanted, so this was always what I asked for at Christmas, and then I’d try to make that bottle last me the whole year. I still love it just as much today. If I had to choose only one perfume, this would be it.

I am not a makeup girl, and half the time I don’t know what goes where, which is exactly why I like this palette. Everything is actually labeled, blush, bronzer, highlighter, and so on, plus it comes with a little card that shows you exactly where and how to apply everything. It’s made for mature skin, and for somebody like me who needs makeup to be simple, I think it’s pretty cool.
